ELATION is proud to announce our newest advanced fixture software, Colourtune Technology

COLOR TUNING
This feature offers the selection between Highest Output, Highest Fidelity or a blend between the two. When Highest Output is selected, the fixture will prioritize output intensity by producing the selected CCT and color settings at the highest output possible while offering the best color fidelity readings it can. When Highest Fidelity is selected, the fixture will prioritize light quality by producing the selected CCT and color settings at the highest fidelity possible while offering the best intensity it can. The difference between fidelity and output changes will vary depending on the CCT and color settings. Selecting Balanced Output and Fidelity will equally prioritize fidelity and output to produce the selected CCT and color settings with equally balanced fidelity and output.

OUTPUT BALANCE
Output Balance settings allow for the selection of Bright and Uniform (Elation Full Spectrum Match). This setting allows for the balancing of color tone across multiple fixture models that also share Elation’s Full Spectrum Engine. With this setting selected to Uniform, the fixtures may reduce the intensity of some primary colors to ensure all mixed colors match across multiple fixture models. The Uniform setting also ensures that color temperature and output levels are closely matched across fixtures of the same model.

16BIT CCT CONTROL
When using a DMX mode with 16bit CCT control, fully variable CCT values are offered, and adjustability of 1 degree Kelvin is obtainable.

DIM TO WARM
With this feature activated, the fixture will emulate a tungsten lamp by lowering the color temperature as it is dimmed down. This will work on any CCT value you’ve set on the CCT channel. If no base CCT is set, the feature will not affect the output.

WHITE POINT ADJUSTMENT
The White Point Adjustment feature allows you to set a desired CCT value and then mix color from that white set point. This color can be mixed manually through adjusting the primary color channels, or by selecting a color in the virtual swatch book.

VIRTUAL SWATCH BOOK FADE
We’ve added the ability to fade between two virtual swatch book color selections. Using the Dimmer Delay Time setting in the Dim Mode Control Channel, select a fade time. Once that selection is made, changing between colors in the swatch book will fade using the timing you selected.
