Bydgoszcz
Completion date: 2013
The Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz was established in 1974, and the building of the Pomeranian House of Arts, in which the representative concert hall is situated, was devolved to the Academy’s Governing Body in 2007. In 2013 the facility underwent a comprehensive renovation. Aside from installation of upper and lower stage mechanics devices (i.a. two Spiralift stage trapdoors, 15 electrical platforms, 6 electrical stage barrels,
4 light bridges), there was also a complete lighting control system together with stage technology lighting devices (48 DTS and Spotlight luminaires, and a 200+ MKII console by Strand Lighting) were applied. Also two Wall Rack dimmers by Philips Strand Lighting, in configuration 24 circuits 2.5kW each, were installed.
In the concert hall of the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz, there has also been developed a system for general lighting control, non-regulated circuits of the stage lighting as well as workstation lighting. The control panels were deployed by the entrances and in the light manager office. The hall’s general lighting includes dimmable, fluorescent lamp based luminaires controlled by the DALI protocol, as well as LED luminaires and halogens. The applied system allows locking the other platforms during the performance from a desktop.
