Przedsiebiorstwo Specjalistyczne TEATR company delivered and launched the stage lighting system in the Father Jacob Falkowski’s Deaf-Mute Institute Lecture Hall in Warsaw. It may not be the biggest from previously carried out installations, however very interesting. In this case, the set priorities were energy efficiency, ease of use and simplicity of maintenance. In such case, there could be only one choice – LED. The outcome of such move is one of the first in Poland, fully homogenized output light based exclusively on LED type luminaires. All devices are equipped in RGBW modules, additionally allowing for almost infinite color choice, without the necessity for using gel filters, which also contributes to facilitating the system’s operation and lowers the costs. The applied equipment included:
– Fresnel optics luminaires PLFRESNEL-1 by Philips Selecon. Fitted with a single, interchangeable, 120W LED RGBW module and regulated optics with variable beam angle from 15° to 55°. The devices are equipped in an integrated power supply, and it’s control is performed directly via DMX512 signal. The luminaires body holds an on-board communication module with a LCD display.
– Profile luminaires PLPROFILE-1 by Philips Selecon. Fitted with a single, interchangeable, 120W LED RGBW module and regulated optics variable beam angle from 24° to 44°. The devices are equipped in an integrated power supply, and it’s control is performed directly via DMX512 signal. The luminaires body holds an on-board communication module with a LCD display.
– LWZ 60 moving lights by REDLighting, fitted with 36pcs 10W RGBW LEDs (under shared lenses), remote zoom control from 10° to 60°. The devices have a pre-installed wireless DMX receiver.
Additionally, the system was enriched by wireless DMX communication, performed by popular SHOW BABY transceivers by CITY THEATRICAL.
Thanks to the application of exclusively LED based equipment, there was no need for using any dimming systems, which as a result greatly facilitated the installation.
Control of the system was held by HDL-Polska elements, and the effect lighting realization is possible thanks to an extremely easy to use, a 200+ series console by Strand Lighting. The console supports 1024 DMX channels, which allows for future upgrade of the installation.
