Cultural Center in Ostrów continues its activity since 2006, following the traditions of the Ostrów Community Centre. It is known for its cyclical cultural events, musical concerts, author meetings, etc. The headquarters of the Cultural Center in Ostrów is based in the old Municipal Theatre edifice, and in 2010 its modernization works were completed. The result of the modernization process is the emerging of a modern entertainment hall. The P.S. TEATR Company equipped the facility with the technology lighting system, consisting of a digital console supporting more than 2000 DMX channels, and nearly 120 luminaires by ETC (Source Four Zoom 15-30 and 25-50), Spotlight (Vario 12, Figura Zoom 25, Ribaltina) and DTS (Delta 7R). The system is being powered by a set of 4, wall mounted dimmers – Wall Rack 24 x 2,5 kW by Philips Strand Lighting.
Within the scope of work connected with the stage machinery, we have fitted the hall in the electrically driven line hoist (SWL 500 Kg), cinema screen lift, curtain mechanisms, 13 decoration line hoists, 2 stage bridges and backstage mechanism secured to the gallery with position locking function.
