The Szczecin’s Puppet Theatre „Pleciuga” was founded in 1953 (by the name: Puppet Theatre „Rusałka”, to be changed into „Pleciuga” after few years). The theatre witnessed many performances for children, as well as adults. In 2009 the new theatre’s abode was commissioned at the Teatralny square. It is the first building, created from a scratch after the WWII, with a theatre purpose. The new facility has two stages with 300 and 50 seats, modernized wardrobes, as well as carpentry, locksmith and a puppet studios.
The complex stage fittings was delivered by P.S. TEATR. The stage floor was made of pinewood boards, placed on the ground beams. To avoid unexpected ground shocks, special anti-vibration underlay has been installed.
The stage has been equipped in: 22 pcs. of 10m long stage barrels and load capacity of 250 kg; each of the stage barrels is fitted with electrical drive.
The installation included also: four, 16-meters light bridges with a load capacity of 250 kg with electrical drives, four, 16 meter long diagonal hoists with a load capacity of 250 kg with electrical drives. 13,5 meters long, portal light bridge with a load capacity of 600 kg.
10 meter long stage barrel with a load capacity of 250 kg with electrical drive and two portal towers were also installed.
The correct operation of the regulated circuits is led by 6 Wall Rack dimmers by Strand Lighting, configured as follows: 5 x 24, 3kW circuits and 1x 6, 5 kW circuits.
Stage technology lighting was based on the Italian’s Spotlight reflectors. The delivery and installation included: 20, 600W profile reflectors, 10 pcs. of 650W fresnel lens reflectors, 50 pcs. of 1kW fresnel lens reflectors and 20 pcs. of 1kW floodlights. The whole installation is complemented by twenty moving head type devices by Philips Vari*Lite and one EIKI’s projector.
