On The 1st Of October 2011, After A Four Year Major Renovation, The Grand Opening Of The Modernized Headquarters Of The Musical Theatre In Łódź Took Place. The Renovation And Modernization Project Made By Architecture Professor, Mr. Józef Chmiel Involved All The Building’s Parts. So Called Right Pocket Was Added To The Stage, Together With Power Distribution Room, Ballet Hall Together With Wardrobes And Lavatories, Service Rooms, Ballet Costume Warehouse Which Also Became A Part Of The Enlargement Project. The New Rehearsal Room For The Orchestra Was Created. The Main Hall’s Balcony Gained New Shape. The Audience Was Also Fitted With New Chairs And Lining. The Technology Design Was Created By Eng. Jerzy Gumiński And Eng. Tomasz Zaborowski.
P.S. TEATR Designed And Fitted The Musical Theatre In The Stage Technology Lighting, Stage Mechanics And Electroacoustic Devices. The Works Manager In The Field Of Stage Lighting System Was Tomasz Zaborowski And Jan Walentowski Coordinated Works Connected With The Implementation Of The Drives Control System.
The Lighting Control System Is Realized Vis Magicq 200 And Magicq 100 Consoles By The British Chamsys Brand, Connected With The Advanced Media Server, Enabling Full Projection Synchronization, Realized By The XGA Projector By EIKI With The Power Of 15000 Ansi Lumens. The Voltage Regulation Of The Conventional Devices Is Performed By A Set Of Over 300 Digital Dimmers, Including Sinusoidal Ones, By The State Automation – A World Class Leader In Dimmer Production.
The Light Park Is Composed From A Set Of Over 240 Devices. The Applied Devices Include: Spotlight Luminaires – 12 X Combi 25 Zoom, 6 X Figura Zoom 25, 60 X Vario 12 PC, 50 X Vario 25 PC, 103 Source Four Series Profile Luminaires By ETC, As Well As Intelligent Lighting – Vari*Lite Moving Heads: 8 X VLX And VL 1000 TSD ERS, DTS And SGM LED Floodlights, And For The First Time In Poland – The Seachanger Devices, Based On The Plasma Light Obtaining Technology.
Within The Range Of The Stage Mechanics Appliances, A Total Of 37 Stage Barrels (Decoration And Lighting), 3 Light Bridges, 9 Point Hoists, The Transport Lifts And A Mobile Rotating Stage, Were Delivered And Installed.
The Drive System Was Based On The Microchip Drivers. All Mechanical Devices Are Being Controller Via Computer Based Console, Enabling The Control Of Chosen Drives. The Console, Fitted With 15’’ Touch Screen Allows A Precise Movement Parameters Definition, Such As Speed, Positioning, Braking Distance, Drives Synchronization, As Well As Status Monitoring Of All Drives. In Order To Ensure The Highest Level Of Security, The System Is Equipped In A Set Of Alarm Push Buttons Deployed On The Stage, In Switch Stations And On The Technical Beam.
The Theatre’s Audience Is Capable Of Accommodating 850 Viewers. Modern Devices And Installations Applied In The Musical Theatre In Łódź, Enable The Realization Even The Most Demanding Performances
