Sound And Word Centre (MCDiS -Malopolskie Centrum Dzwięku i Slowa) in Niepolomice began its activity in 2011, as a cultural-entertainment-educational facility. It’s building holds Poland’s only Phonography Museum. The Centre has a Banquet Hall and a Performance Hall ready for 200 guests.
Przedsiebiorstwo Specjalistyczne TEATR delivered and installed a comprehensive stage lighting control system. The whole installation is being controlled via Palette VL – a control desk by Philips Strand Lighting (with the feature of remote control). The facility has been fitted with equipment of the following renowned brands: Philips Vari*Lite (VL 1000TSD ERS), ETC (Source Four Zoom), DTS (XR2000 Spot CMY and Delta R), Spotlight (Vario 12 PC and Vedette 1200W). Also two wall-mounted digital dimmers were installed – the Wall Rack 24/2.5kW by Philips Strand Lighting.
