In Toruń, a modern and multifunctional concert hall came to life – The Culture and Congress Centre – CKK Jordanki, being the central residence for Toruń’s Symphonic Orchestra. The total area of the object is 22.000 square meters, and it’s cubic capacity – 158.000 square meters. The Centre holds two halls – concert and event hall, with an area of 1012 m2 , ready to accommodate 822 viewers, and a Chamber hall (315 m2) for 287 guests. Both rooms can be combined, giving a huge space for such events as fairs, exhibitions or conferences.
By the orders of the lead designer, PS TEATR company developed a stage technology project consisting of stage lighting system, as well as stage machinery. As a part of a consortium, P.S. Teatr was responsible for the delivery and installation of the upper and lower stage machinery, the technology lighting system of the stage, as well as the auxiliary fitting of the stage-technical systems of the stage.
The CCK Jordanki has been fitted with a set of modern luminaires, i.a.: 144 Vari-Lite moving heads, 38 moving heads NICK NRG 1201 by DTS, 4 pcs of MAC Quantum Wash by Martin. The light park consists of 32 theatre reflectors LED SELECON PL3 with an 15°-55° optics, 74 profile reflectors Spotlight Evolution ZOOM, PC luminaires: 36 x Spotlight VARIO 25 PC with an 4° – 66° optics and 34 x Spotlight VARIO 12 PC with an 4° – 63° optics, 4 Spotlight VEDETTE followspots, 8 asymmetrical floodlights LED RGBW Selecon PLCYC2, 3 x LED Showline SL NITRO 510 blinders with over 68,000 lumens of output, 22 symmetrical floodlights Spotlight DOMINO and 30 pcs of ETC’s Source Four PAR EA luminaires.
The lighting control is performed via the EOS system by ETC – two Titanium Consoles, and two GIO 2K’s. Additionally, the system includes a wireless DMX signal transmission, backed up by the City Theatrical’s Show Baby 5 transceivers. The installed system also comprises dimming packs Smartpack by ETC, the Smartfade 2496 controlling desk, 4 DMX Splitter 8 RDM splitters by NA, and 76 double, wall-mounted Ethernet/DMX ports Pathport C by Pathway. Additional effects are provided by two Base Hazer foggers by Hazebase.
The multifunctional concert hall of the Toruń’s CKK Jordanki is one of Poland’s most state-of-the-art object by means of stage and technology equipment.
