In 2013 we have finished equipping the Poznań’s Culture Centre “Zamek” in the stage technology lighting. The Centre is located in the early XX century Emperor’s Palace – the youngest palace in Europe, build on a big scale and splendor for a German emperor. On the occasion of its centennial anniversary, the decision of the comprehensive renovation with a goal of modernizing the facility, has been taken. The Centre’s rebuild started in December 2010, and withheld, inter alia, works in the Grand Hall, Main Hall, Exhibition Hall, Studio Cinema, Rehersal’s Hall and Atrium.
Przedsiębiorstwo Specjalistyczne TEATR fitted the Culture Centre “Zamek” in over 80 luminaires by the Italian Spotlight (COMBI 12 PC (4° – 63°), COMBI 25 PC (4° – 66°), COMBI 25 ZOOM (17° – 36°) and VEDETTE (7° – 18°) i (8° – 15°), 18 pcs. of SPX (zoom 25°-50°) profile reflectors by Selecon, 40 moving heads (including LED DTS DELTA 8 R Full Colour 12°), 3 pcs. of HUI asymmetrical floodlights by Selecon and two haze machines Haze Baser by Hazebase. The technological lighting control is performed via 3 consoles by Philips Strand Lighting (PALETTE VL 3000, PALETTE VL 1500 and 200 PLUS 24/48). Also 10, wall mounted, Wallrack Digital Dimmers by Philips Strand Lighting were installed.
Spacious interiors give broad application possibilities including activities in the fields of art and culture. The Culture Centre “Zamek” is a gallery, movie theatre, concert hall and a theatre at the same time. Thanks to the renovation, “Zamek” gained a multifunctional entertainment hall with the auditorium for 600 spectators. The Modern touch of the facility, aside from the advanced equipment, is emphasized by its glass roof with a mezzanine, located above the atrium, which takes the role of a foyer in front if the Grand Hall. The Poznań’s Culture Centre changed beyond recognition.
