The headquarters of the ‘Mazowsze’ ensemble is located in Otrębusy, on the territory of the “Karolin” Historic Palace and Park, in the European Centre Matecznik “Mazowsze” (ECM). Modernized and enlarged Palace Complex has been especially adapted for the needs of the active there cultural institutions. In this facility, we were responsible for the delivery and installation of the stage and audience mechanics, electronic stage and audience drives, as well as technological stage lighting. The festive inauguration of the Performance and Education Hal took place on the 17th of October 2009.
The stage is almost 350 square meters’ space with the additional two side pockets of 100 square meters each. The stage has been equipped in i.a. mobile light bridges, portal bridge, two mobile portal towers, and electrical stage barrels with adjustable movement speed, used for hanging decorations or elements which change the hall’s acoustics, depending on the needs.
The Performance Hall’s audience is capable of housing 540 people. It has been fitted with an elevating system, consisting of six screw hoists with the working load of 50kN each. The installed system allows the audience to be arranged in a theatrical layout, and thanks to the hoists, after the automatic seats removal and floor alignment to the stage level, to create a unified functional space of 1100 square meters. The unique solutions applied in the Performance Hall, provide its high functionality.
All mechanical devices are electrically controlled via the control console, placed in the portal tower. The drives’ installation included the controlling system of the acoustic screens placed above the audience.
The fitted technological lighting devices include: conventional lighting equipment, moving heads and LED floodlights. We can find there i.a.: more than 80 ETC Source Four Spotlights with the 36°, 26°, 19°, 10° and 5° optics, more than 120 PC lens reflectors Scena 1000 and Scena 2000 by DTS, with the beam angle of 10° – 64° and 9° – 54°, DTS Delta R LED floodlights, and DTS XR9 moving heads.
The stage has been also fitted with a complex technology lighting installation, including
240 regulated circuits, 36 non-regulated ones and 24 working circuits.
