The Bilgoraj’s Culture Centre was established in 1953 as a District Culture House ranging its activity onto the whole Biłgoraj’s District. Considering the time lapse, the facility had to undergo a renovation, which took place in the years 2010-2012. The modernization included the whole building. The facility has been significantly enlarged by adding a new floor – now the Biłgoraj’s Culture Centre forms a space area of more than 2,7 thousand square meters.
Profound changes were also made in the facility’s interior – in the performance and movie theatre halls. New chamber room, spacious galleries, hall with
a coffee shop, wardrobes and accompanying rooms have also been set up.
The P.S. TEATR fitted the Bilgoraj’s Culture Centre with the stage lighting system, as well as the audience light controlling system in the Performance Hall and Chamber Room. The list of used equipment includes over 100 Philips Selecon luminaires (28 pcs. of ACCLAIM PC with a 4°-64° optics, 38 pcs. of RAMA 150 PC with a 5°-60° optics, 28 pcs. of SPX ZOOM 15°-35°, 4 pcs. of SPX ZOOM 25°-50°, 6 pcs. of ACCLAIM AXIAL ZOOM 18°-34°). The set has been enlarged by: two PHARUS 1200 follow spots with the magnetic ballast, 4 pcs. of DELTA 8 R FULL COLOUR moving heads with the beam angle of 12° by DTS and 12 symmetrical floodlights RIBALTINA by SPOTLIGHT. The technology lighting control is performed via the ZERO 88 ORB FX console. The system is powered by a set of six, wall mounted Digital Dimmers Wallrack by Philips Strand Lighting. The complementation of the technology lighting are three haze machines – BASE CLASSIC 1300W by HAZEBASE.
The Bilgoraj’s Culture Centre is an institution with more than a 60 years tradition. It underwent a true makeover, thanks to which it became a modern facility with a rebuilt performance hall, fitted with a technologically advanced sound and lighting systems matching up the 21st century.
