On the 19th of January 2012 the Grand Opening of the International Cultures Center’s – the new headquarters of the Oskar Kolberg Swietokrzyska Philharmonics, which history dates back to 1920 – took place. The new facility houses a multifunctional concert hall, chamber room for 200 people, concert courtyard, library and a foyer with a possibility of section the rehearsal space off. The concert hall is a special place – aside from concerts, opera performances, musicals or ballet, it can also serve as a film show room.
For the needs of the newly created investement, P.S. Teatr carried out the works concerning the delivery, installation and setup of the technological stage fittings of the newly built Philharmonics stage.
The works included i.a.: transport trapdoors with the Spiralift drive system and the stage mechanics drives controlling system. The technological stage lighting was based on the Italian Spotlight luminaires: Vedette 12 x 4, Vario 25 PC x 6, Vario 12 PC x 15, Arena 12 Fresnel x 10, ETC’s profile luminaires Source Four Zoom x 10 and DTS moving heads: 4 x XR 5 Spot, 2 x XR 5 Wash. The lighting control is performed via the Lighting Palette VL 64/1000 console by Strand Lighting. Also a group of six thyristor dimmers Wallrack by Strand Lighting were installed.
The Audience’s lighting system is performer via the HDL Pus Pro control System. The control is conducted by a working and non-regulated circuits desk, which is installed in a cabin, as well as in the stage manager’s station. In the Świętokrzyska Philharmonics, we have also installed the multimedia projection system.
